Banks

Learn how to manage banks and financial institutions in Witstally.

Banks

Banks in Witstally are directory objects that represent financial institutions. You need to define banks in your system to configure bank accounts, assign bank details to counterparties, and properly parse and link bank statements.

Key Fields

  • Name: The name of the bank (e.g., “JPMorgan Chase” or “PrivatBank”).
  • MFO / BIC: The bank routing code (MFO for Ukraine, BIC/SWIFT for international banks).
  • Address & Country: The legal location of the bank.

Managing Banks

You can select a bank from the list when setting up bank accounts or counterparties. If a bank is missing, you can create a new one directly from the selection modal or the main bank directory.
